Typography is the backbone of the Academica brand. The right fonts communicate trust, professionalism, and academic excellence before a single word is read. Consistent typography across all materials instantly signals that something is authentically Academica.
Our typography system is intentionally simple: one serif for impact, one sans-serif for everything else. Master these two typefaces and you'll create materials that look polished and unmistakably Academica.
Use Semibold (600) or Bold (700) weight. This elegant serif commands attention and establishes authority. Perfect for presentation titles, document headers, section headings, and anywhere you need to make a statement.
Our workhorse typeface. Use various weights: Regular (400) for body copy, Demibold (600) for emphasis, Bold (700) for subheadings. The condensed form fits more text while staying readable.
These are our official typefaces. Install them on your computer to use in Word, PowerPoint, and other applications.
Avenir Next Condensed Regular delivers clean, modern efficiency for most applications—websites, brochures, presentations. The condensed form allows for longer text strings without wrapping while maintaining excellent readability.
Our primary Adobe Fonts aren't available in Google Workspace. When working in Google Docs, Slides, or Forms, use these approved Google Font alternatives. They're not identical, but they maintain our brand's professional character.
A refined serif with similar warmth and elegance. Use for headlines and titles in Google Slides presentations and Google Docs headers.
A versatile condensed sans-serif that works well for body text, subheadings, and UI elements. Available in multiple weights.
Download the font files below and install them on your computer. Once installed, they'll be available in Word, PowerPoint, and other applications.
